Rural Recovery Act of 2025

The Rural Recovery Act of 2025 directs the Secretary of Agriculture to establish a program providing technical assistance to eligible rural communities affected by disasters. The program offers support in areas such as telecommunications, water infrastructure, housing, energy infrastructure, community facilities, business infrastructure, and local government infrastructure. Assistance includes planning, identifying issues, potential solutions, and funding sources. The Secretary may extend the eligibility period for an additional three years on a case-by-case basis.
