The Access to Genetic Counselor Services Act of 2025 amends title XVIII of the Social Security Act to expand Medicare coverage to include genetic counseling services. These services must be furnished by a genetic counselor, defined as someone licensed by a state or certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling. The bill sets the payment for these services at 80% of the lesser of the actual charge or 85% of the physician fee schedule amount.
