The Medical Nutrition Therapy Act of 2025 seeks to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to expand the availability of medical nutrition therapy services under the Medicare program. Currently, coverage for medical nutrition therapy is only available to Medicare Part B beneficiaries with diabetes or a renal disease. This bill aims to extend coverage to include prediabetes, obesity, hypertension, dyslipidemia, malnutrition, eating disorders, cancer, gastrointestinal diseases, HIV, AIDS, cardiovascular disease, and any other disease or condition specified by the Secretary relating to.
