The Home for the Brave Act of 2025 amends the Department of Housing and Urban Development Act to exclude veterans' disability benefits from income for housing assistance programs. This means that disability compensation and dependency and indemnity compensation received by a family member will not affect eligibility, benefit amounts, or rent payments for HUD housing assistance programs.
