The Apostle Islands National Park and Preserve Act redesignates Apostle Islands National Lakeshore as Apostle Islands National Park and Preserve. Hunting and trapping are prohibited within Apostle Islands National Park, except where permitted by treaty, statute, or executive order. The Secretary of the Interior administers hunting and trapping in Apostle Islands National Preserve in accordance with previous administration practices and applicable laws. Fishing is managed in the same manner as it was before the enactment of this Act.
