Advancing Quality U.S. Aquaculture Act amends the National Aquaculture Act of 1980.

The Advancing Quality U.S. Aquaculture Act amends the National Aquaculture Act of 1980 to extend aquaculture programs. It establishes an Aquaculture Advisory Committee to advise the Secretary on aquaculture policies, initiatives, and outreach. The Committee will evaluate ongoing research, provide recommendations, and submit annual reports to Congress. The Act also extends the deadline for the aquaculture regulatory constraints plan and capital requirements plan from 2023 to 2029.
