Prohibits Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the Department of Health and Human Services from disclosing Medicaid data for immigration.

The bill, known as the Limiting ICE’s Nationwide Encroachment Act or the LINE Act, prohibits the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the Department of Health and Human Services from disclosing Medicaid data for law enforcement purposes related to immigration. This includes preventing the sharing of individually identifiable health information obtained during Medicaid enrollment with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
