The Puerto Rico Nutrition Assistance Fairness Act amends the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 to transition Puerto Rico to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. It requires Puerto Rico to submit a plan of operation within 180 days, which the Secretary of Agriculture must approve. If the plan is not approved, the Secretary must provide a statement of deficiencies. The Secretary must also provide technical assistance to help Puerto Rico formulate the plan.
