The bill amends the Agricultural Marketing Act of 1946 to establish a grant program for specialty crop producers. The Secretary of Agriculture will award grants to eligible entities to acquire mechanized or automated systems and tools that increase efficiency or reduce human labor. Recipients must use grant funds for training and professional services to effectively operate the equipment. The grant amount should offset the costs incurred by the recipient, and recipients must provide non-Federal matching funds equal to at least 50 percent of the grant amount.
