Allows the Secretary of the Interior to extend certain leases within the National Park System without bidding.
The National Park System Long-Term Lease Investment Act authorizes the Secretary of the Interior to extend certain leases within units of the National Park System without opening the lease to bidding. This applies if the lessee entered into the lease at least five years prior to the extension and the Director of the National Park Service determines that extending the lease is in the best interests of the park's administration. The Secretary must revise the relevant regulations within 90 days of the Act's enactment to reflect this authority.
