The Immigration Enforcement Staff Body Camera Accountability Act mandates that all immigration enforcement staff, including agents and officers of U.S. Customs and Border Protection and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, as well as staff at immigration detention facilities, wear body cameras during official operations. The Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection must ensure compliance.
