The Clean Air and Building Infrastructure Improvement Act mandates timely publication of regulations and guidance for new or revised air quality.

The Clean Air and Building Infrastructure Improvement Act amends the Clean Air Act to require the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to publish final regulations and guidance concurrently with any final rule establishing or revising a national ambient air quality standard. This includes information on submitting and considering preconstruction permit applications under the new or revised standard. If the EPA fails to publish such regulations and guidance, the standard will not apply to preconstruction permit applications until the EPA does so.
