The Deescalation Drone Pilot Program Act of 2025 amends title 49, United States Code, to establish a pilot program for small, nonlethal deescalation unmanned aircraft to be used by law enforcement and public safety agencies. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) must establish this pilot program within 2 months of the bill's enactment. The program will review the potential use of nonlethal deescalation unmanned aircraft by Federal, State, local, or Tribal law enforcement responding to an active shooter event.
