Establishes a pilot program for nonlethal deescalation drones for law enforcement.
The Deescalation Drone Pilot Program Act of 2025 amends title 49, United States Code, to establish a pilot program for small, nonlethal deescalation unmanned aircraft to be used for law enforcement and public safety. The pilot program, to be overseen by the Federal Aviation Administration, will review the potential use of nonlethal deescalation unmanned aircraft by Federal, State, local, or Tribal law enforcement responding to an active shooter event.
