The Resources for Victims of Gun Violence Act of 2025 establishes an Advisory Council to Support Victims of Gun Violence. The Council will include federal officials and representatives from communities affected by gun violence. It will identify and disseminate best practices and resources to help victims meet their needs. The Council will also assess compensation funds for best practices and make reports available to the public. The Department of Health and Human Services will be the lead agency for the Council, which will terminate five years after enactment.
