Medicare Enrollment Protection Act of 2025 provides a special enrollment period for Medicare Part B for individuals on COBRA continuation coverage.

The Medicare Enrollment Protection Act of 2025 amends the Social Security Act to establish a special enrollment period for Medicare Part B for individuals who are on COBRA continuation coverage. This special enrollment period includes the months during which the individual is on COBRA continuation coverage and the three months following the end of such coverage. The bill also mandates that COBRA continuation coverage not be reduced or terminated based on an individual's eligibility for Medicare Part B.
