The Safe Routes Act of 2025 amends title 23 of the United States Code to waive vehicle weight limits for certain logging vehicles transporting raw or unfinished forest products, including logs, pulpwood, biomass, or wood chips. This waiver applies if the vehicle is traveling no more than 150 air miles on the Interstate from origin to a storage or processing facility and meets state legal weight tolerances and vehicle configurations for transporting these products within the state boundaries.
