The Safe Routes Act of 2025 waives vehicle weight limits for logging vehicles transporting raw forest products.

The Safe Routes Act of 2025 amends title 23 of the United States Code to waive vehicle weight limits for logging vehicles transporting raw or unfinished forest products, including logs, pulpwood, biomass, or wood chips. This waiver applies to vehicles traveling no more than 150 air miles on the Interstate to a storage or processing facility, provided they meet state legal weight tolerances and vehicle configurations. The waiver only applies to state legal weight tolerances in effect on the date of enactment of this subsection.
