Capitol Remembrance Act mandates an exhibit in the U.S. Capitol depicting the January 6, 2021 attack.

The Capitol Remembrance Act requires the Architect of the Capitol to design and install a permanent exhibit in the U.S. Capitol within two years. The exhibit will depict the attack on the Capitol that occurred on January 6, 2021. It will include preserved property from the Capitol damaged during the attack, existing photographic records, and a plaque honoring law enforcement, Capitol Police Officers Brian Sicknick and Howard Liebengood, Metropolitan Police Department Officers Jeffrey Smith, Gunther Hashida, and Kyle DeFreytag, and those who sustained injuries.
