Caring for Survivors Act of 2025 improves and expands eligibility for dependency and indemnity compensation for certain veterans' survivors.

Caring for Survivors Act of 2025 amends title 38, United States Code, to improve and expand eligibility for dependency and indemnity compensation paid to certain survivors of certain veterans. It increases the amount of dependency and indemnity compensation for surviving spouses and modifies the requirements for dependency and indemnity compensation for survivors of certain veterans rated totally disabled at the time of death. The changes apply to compensation paid for months beginning six months after the date of the enactment of this Act.
