The Caring for Survivors Act of 2025 amends title 38, United States Code, to improve and expand eligibility for dependency and indemnity compensation paid to certain survivors of certain veterans. The bill increases the monthly amount of dependency and indemnity compensation for surviving spouses of veterans who died before January 1, 1993. It also modifies the requirements for dependency and indemnity compensation for survivors of certain veterans rated totally disabled at the time of death.
