A BILL

To amend the Higher Education Act of 1965 to lower the interest rate on Federal student loans to 2 percent.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the “Affordable Loans for Students Act”.
