Paycheck Fairness Act amends the Fair Labor Standards Act to enhance enforcement of equal pay laws.

The Paycheck Fairness Act amends the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 to strengthen enforcement of equal pay laws. It establishes the National Award for Pay Equity in the Workplace, awarded annually by the Secretary of Labor in consultation with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. The Act also creates the National Equal Pay Enforcement Task Force to coordinate efforts among agencies and ensure compliance with equal pay laws. It mandates employers to post notices about equal pay requirements and prohibits them from seeking wage history from prospective employees.
