Enhances penalties for theft of a firearm from a Federal firearms licensee.
The Federal Firearms Licensee Protection Act of 2025 amends chapter 44 of title 18, United States Code, to increase penalties for theft of a firearm from a Federal firearms licensee. Specifically, it imposes a fine, imprisonment of up to 20 years, or both for knowingly violating section 922(u). If the violation occurs during a burglary, the term of imprisonment is not less than 3 years; if during a robbery, it is not less than 5 years.
