Mrs. Bice (for herself, Mr. Scott Franklin of Florida, Mr. Arrington, Mr. Bergman, Mr. Moolenaar, Mr. Ellzey, Ms. Van Duyne, Mr. Flood, Mrs. Cammack, and Mr. Donalds) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Agriculture, and in addition to the Committees on Natural Resources, Energy and Commerce, and Science, Space, and Technology, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned
A BILL
To require that a State be ineligible to receive funds under certain Federal programs unless the State has in effect a State law restricting the purchase of agricultural land by certain foreign persons, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. Short title.
This Act may be cited as the “Stop China’s Continuous Purchase of Land Act” or the “Stop CCP Land Act”.
