The Department of Peacebuilding Act of 2025 establishes a Department of Peacebuilding within the executive branch, dedicated to peacebuilding, peacemaking, and promoting conditions conducive to domestic and international peace. The Department aims to cultivate peace and peacebuilding as a strategic national policy objective, reduce and prevent violence through effective nonviolent conflict resolution, and study and recommend policies for peace, peacebuilding, and violence prevention.
