Ms. Lee of Nevada (for herself, Ms. Salazar, Mr. Veasey, and Mr. Fitzpatrick) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, and in addition to the Committee on Homeland Security, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned
A BILL
To amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to ensure grants under the Nonprofit Security Grant Program of the Department of Homeland Security are not treated as reimbursements for costs incurred; and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. Short title.
This Act may be cited as the “Nonprofit Security Grant Program Funding Improvement Act”.
