The Federal Employee Records Relief Act establishes a temporary process for former federal employees to obtain personnel records, secure administrative corrections to personnel and benefits documentation, and receive benefits coordination support. Former federal employees who separated from employment on or after January 20, 2025, can request administrative corrections and access to their personnel records. The Director of the Office of Personnel Management must provide relevant records and information, including separation-related actions.
