Ms. Dexter (for herself, Mr. Huffman, and Mr. Gallagher) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Natural Resources, and in addition to the Committees on Agriculture, and Education and Workforce, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned
A BILL
To authorize the Federal Wildland Firefighter Health and Wellbeing Program, a comprehensive initiative to improve the health of Federal wildland firefighters, and for other purposes.
1. Short title; table of contents; 2. Definitions; 3. Wildland Firefighter Health Task Force; 4. Federal Wildland Firefighter Health and Wellbeing Program; 5. Occupational safety and health research; 6. Occupational safety and health standards for wildland firefighter protection; 7. Office of Workers' Compensation Programs; 8. Duty time for hygiene and gear decontamination for Federal wildland firefighters; 9. Government Accountability Office study
