A BILL

To require the Ronald A. Robinson Post Office in Little Rock, Arkansas, to replace certain exterior signage, and for other purposes.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Replacement of post office signage at Ronald A. Robinson Post Office.

(a) In general.—Except as provided in subsection (d), the United States Postal Service shall accept and display, on behalf of the Ronald A. Robinson Post Office, the signs described in in accordance with this Act.

(1) a sign that—
1. (A) is provided to the Postal Service by The Heights Neighborhood Association of Little Rock, Arkansas not later than the end of the acceptance period;
2. (B) is designed to be affixed to a window;
3. (C) contains the term “Ronald A. Robinson Station”; and
4. (D) conforms to the applicable standards of the Postal Service with respect to such a sign, as determined by the Postal Service; and
(2) a sign that—
1. (A) is provided to the Postal Service by The Heights Neighborhood Association of Little Rock, Arkansas not later than the end of the acceptance period;
2. (B) is a set of individual alphabetic letters that—
  1. (i) comprise the term “Ronald A. Robinson Station”; and
  2. (ii) matches the dimensional characteristics of the alphabetic letters comprising the term “Forest Park Station” on the exterior of the Ronald A. Robinson Post Office as of the date of the enactment of this Act, as determined by the Postal Service; and
3. (C) conforms to the applicable standards of the Postal Service with respect to such a sign, as determined by the Postal Service.
  1. (c) Display.—The Postal Service shall, not later than 90 days after the date on which the Postal Service accepts a sign under subsection (a)—
(1) remove each sign, emblem, badge, or other device from exterior of the Ronald A. Robinson Post Office containing or comprising the term “Forest Park Station”; and
(2) display the sign accepted under such subsection on the exterior of such Post Office in a manner that is conspicuous and which causes the sign to read as “Ronald A. Robinson Station” and, with respect to a sign described in subsection (b)(2), in the same place as the term “Forest Park Station” was displayed on the exterior of the Ronald A. Robinson Post Office prior to the removal of such term pursuant to paragraph (1).
1. (d) Owner permission.—The Postal Service may accept and display a sign under subsection (a) only if the Postal Service has received permission, in writing, from the owner of the building in which the Ronald A. Robinson Post Office is located for—
(1) the removal of each sign, emblem, badge, or other device from exterior of such Post Office containing the term “Forest Park Station”; and
(2) the display of a sign accepted under such subsection on the exterior of such Post Office.
1. (e) Signage standards.—The Postal Service shall provide to The Heights Neighborhood Association of Little Rock, Arkansas, upon request, the applicable standards of the Postal Service with respect to signs to be provided by The Heights Neighborhood Association of Little Rock, Arkansas to the Postal Service pursuant to this section.
2. (f) Costs.—The Postal Service shall not be responsible for any costs of carrying out subsections (a) and (c), including the costs of removing any signs, emblems, badges, or other devices from the exterior of the Ronald A. Robinson Post Office under subsection (c) and displaying any sign accepted under subsection (a).
3. (g) Gifts.—The Postal Service is authorized to accept on behalf of the Government signs under subsection (a) and any services necessary to—
(1) remove each sign, emblem, badge, or other device from exterior of the Ronald A. Robinson Post Office containing the term “Forest Park Station”; and
(2) display such signs accepted under such subsection in accordance with this Act.
1. (h) Definitions.—In this Act:

(1) a sign that—
1. (A) is provided to the Postal Service by The Heights Neighborhood Association of Little Rock, Arkansas not later than the end of the acceptance period;
2. (B) is designed to be affixed to a window;
3. (C) contains the term “Ronald A. Robinson Station”; and
4. (D) conforms to the applicable standards of the Postal Service with respect to such a sign, as determined by the Postal Service; and
(2) a sign that—
1. (A) is provided to the Postal Service by The Heights Neighborhood Association of Little Rock, Arkansas not later than the end of the acceptance period;
2. (B) is a set of individual alphabetic letters that—
  1. (i) comprise the term “Ronald A. Robinson Station”; and
  2. (ii) matches the dimensional characteristics of the alphabetic letters comprising the term “Forest Park Station” on the exterior of the Ronald A. Robinson Post Office as of the date of the enactment of this Act, as determined by the Postal Service; and
3. (C) conforms to the applicable standards of the Postal Service with respect to such a sign, as determined by the Postal Service.
  1. (c) Display.—The Postal Service shall, not later than 90 days after the date on which the Postal Service accepts a sign under subsection (a)—
