This bill extends the period of performance for certain disaster recovery projects in Puerto Rico to December 31, 2035. It applies to projects carried out under major disaster declarations for Hurricane Irma, Hurricane Maria, earthquakes in 2019-2020, and Hurricane Fiona. The Federal Emergency Management Agency must report annually on the status of these projects until 2035. After this date, project recipients can request further extensions.
