The Critical Materials Future Act of 2025 establishes a Domestic Critical Material Processing Pilot Program to support domestic critical material processing projects. The Secretary of Energy will issue regulations within 180 days of enactment and enter into agreements to enable the use of innovative financial tools. The program will prioritize projects using domestic feedstock and consult with industry representatives and experts. The program will support at least three different critical materials, with funding capped at 50% for any single material.
