The Flock-Off Act prohibits federal funds from being used for covered camera systems and associated components. These systems automatically capture and process images or recordings of motor vehicles or individuals using machine learning or automated image-processing technology. Exceptions are made for systems used primarily for border security or toll collection. Government agencies and recipients of federal funds must decommission and remove these systems within 180 days of the act's enactment.
