Mr. Kennedy of New York introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform
A BILL
To require curbside delivery of mail at certain housing developments, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. Requiring curbside delivery of mail at certain housing developments.
- (a) In general.—The United States Postal Service—
- (1) shall provide curbside delivery of mail to residents of any housing development; and
- (2) may not obligate or expend any funds (including amounts within the Postal Service Fund under section 2003 of title 39, United States Code) to cease or otherwise limit curbside delivery at such a development.
