JOINT RESOLUTION
Proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to require that any Representative or Senator be a natural born citizen.

“section 1. No person shall be a Representative who is not a natural born citizen of the United States.
“section 2. No person shall be a Senator who is not a natural born citizen of the United States.
“section 3. A person who at the time of ratification is a Representative or Senator who is not a natural born citizen of the United States may serve as such for the remainder of their term. They shall be ineligible to be a Representative or Senator after the completion of their term.”.
