This bill directs the President to remove U.S. Armed Forces from hostilities with Iran, unless explicitly authorized by a declaration of war or specific authorization for use of military force against Iran. It clarifies that the resolution does not authorize the use of military force, influence intelligence activities, or prevent the U.S. from defending itself or maintaining a troop presence for defensive purposes. The resolution also allows for intelligence sharing with coalition partners if deemed appropriate and in the national security interests of the United States.
