Mr. Grassley (for himself and Ms. Ernst) submitted the following resolution; which was considered and agreed to
RESOLUTION
Expressing the sense of the Senate that it values the active participation of the Republic of Kosovo as the state partner of the Iowa National Guard over the past 15 years.
- (1) recognizes the cooperation between the State of Iowa and the Republic of Kosovo and the joint military partnership between the Iowa National Guard and the Kosovo Security Force for the past 15 years;
- (2) greatly appreciates these efforts by the Iowa National Guard and the Republic of Kosovo, and congratulates the Government and people of Kosovo on their commitment to and participation with the Government and people of the United Sates and other countries in advancing peace, democracy, stability, and mutual understanding among governments and people around the world; and
- (3) expresses appreciation for the joint endeavors of the Iowa National Guard, the Republic of Kosovo, and the United States in combating malign activities around the world.
