Mr. Cotton introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Energy and Natural Resources
A BILL
To reduce energy supply shortages and consumer fuel costs by lowering production cost barriers for domestic upstream oil and natural gas producers, providing temporary royalty and tax relief during periods of supply stress, streamlining permitting for additional production, encouraging State severance tax relief, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. Short title.
This Act may be cited as the “Supply Relief and Domestic Production Cost Reduction Act”.
