Mr. Schmitt introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred jointly pursuant to the order of January 30, 1975, as amended by the order of April 11, 1986 to the Committee on Appropriations and the Budget
A BILL
To rescind certain budget authority proposed to be rescinded in special messages transmitted to the Congress by the President on June 3, 2025, in accordance with section 1012(a) of the Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act of 1974.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. Short Title.
This Act may be cited as the “Rescissions Act of 2025”.
