Promotes music tourism in the U.S. by identifying and facilitating travel to music-related attractions and events.
The American Music Tourism Act of 2025 amends the Visit America Act to enhance music tourism in the United States. It tasks the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Travel and Tourism with identifying and promoting locations and events significant to music tourism. This includes facilitating both domestic and international travel to music-related attractions and events. The Assistant Secretary must also report on these activities every two years. The act defines "music tourism" as traveling to visit music-related attractions or attending music festivals and concerts.
