The CONNECT for Health Act of 2025 aims to expand access to telehealth services under Medicare by removing geographic restrictions and other barriers. It allows telehealth services to be furnished without geographic limitations starting October 1, 2025. The bill also expands the types of originating sites eligible to provide telehealth services, including Federally qualified health centers and rural health clinics. It repeals the six-month in-person visit requirement for telemental health services and allows for the waiver of certain telehealth requirements during public health emergencies.
