Mr. Whitesides introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Armed Services

A BILL

To direct the Secretary of the Air Force to establish a pilot program to conduct in-space technology demonstrations regarding advanced nuclear fission propulsion systems and advanced nuclear fusion propulsion systems.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the “Advanced Nuclear Fission and Fusion Propulsion Systems Act”.
