Directs the USDA to study and report on strategies to combat pasture mealybug.
The Combating Pasture Mealybug Act requires the Secretary of Agriculture to conduct a comprehensive study on the current state of U.S. preparedness and response capabilities to combat pasture mealybug. The study will include an assessment of migratory patterns, economic impact, international cooperation, surveillance and detection systems, emergency response plans, and research and development needs. The Secretary must submit a report to Congress and make it publicly available within 6 months of the Act's enactment.
