Connecticut SB00482 requires the Commissioner of Social Services to notify joint standing committees of the General Assembly about potential Medicaid waivers and state plan amendments at least thirty days before submitting them to the federal government. The committees can hold hearings, vote on the applications, and advise the commissioner on approval, denial, or modifications. If the committees deny the application, the commissioner cannot submit it to the federal government.
