SHORT_SUMMAR: Allows customers to choose their electric supplier starting July 1, 2000.
Effective July 1, 2000, customers of electric distribution companies can choose their electric supplier. The Public Utilities Regulatory Authority can adopt regulations to implement this change. This act amends the general statutes to allow for a competitive generation market.
