SB00313

Connecticut SB00313 regulates wakesurfing and wakeboarding on state lakes, requiring a minimum distance of 200 feet from shore.

Connecticut SB00313 establishes regulations for wakesurfing and wakeboarding on state lakes, mandating that wake boats must operate at least 200 feet from the shore. This law allows municipalities to enforce stricter distances and does not affect existing prohibitions on wake boats in lakes bordering Warren, Washington, and Kent. The term "wake boat" is defined as any vessel using devices designed to enhance the wake.
