Establishes a Regulation Sunset Commission to review and recommend the elimination of outdated or unnecessary Connecticut state agency regulations.

The bill creates a Regulation Sunset Commission within the Executive Department to review existing regulations of Connecticut state agencies. The commission will recommend eliminating outdated, unnecessary, overly burdensome, or obsolete regulations. The commission will consist of members appointed by legislative leaders and the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management. The commission will examine regulations on the eRegulations system, hold public hearings, and accept gifts or donations to support its work.
