Connecticut SB00231 regulates cannabis testing and electronic nicotine delivery system dealer registration.
Connecticut SB00231 mandates cannabis establishments to submit marijuana samples to testing laboratories for microbiological contaminants, mycotoxins, heavy metals, and pesticide chemical residue. If a sample fails testing, the establishment must either repeat the test or remediate and retest the batch. The bill also requires hybrid retailers to maintain a secure location for returned cannabis and mandates that a licensed pharmacist be available for consultations.
