Increases the motor vehicle registration fees for electric vehicles in Connecticut.

Connecticut HB05568 proposes to increase the motor vehicle registration fees for electric vehicles. The bill sets the fee at $345 every three years for battery electric vehicles, fuel cell electric vehicles, and range-extended battery electric vehicles. It also sets the fee at $233 every three years for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. The changes will take effect on October 1, 2026.
