This bill expands the debt-free community college program to include workforce development and continuing education programs. The Board of Regents for Higher Education will make awards to qualifying students within available appropriations. Awards will be available to full-time and part-time students, and transition program students. The board shall not use an award to supplant any financial aid otherwise available to a qualifying student.
