Allows children of veterans to use their parent's unused tuition waivers and requires state funding for tuition waivers.

This bill allows children of veterans to use their parent's unused tuition waivers at The University of Connecticut and the Connecticut State Community College. It also requires state funding for tuition waivers. The Board of Regents for Higher Education will establish and administer a fund for tuition waivers. The fund will receive appropriations from general revenues, tuition revenue, and other sources. The bill specifies conditions for tuition waivers, including for veterans, members of the National Guard, and other eligible individuals.
